Why we do both the concrete and the build
Too many backyard projects fall apart at the handoff. The concrete company pours the patio and leaves. A few weeks later the cover builder shows up and finds the posts don't have footings. The kitchen builder needs a gas line under a slab that's already poured. Everyone points at someone else, and the homeowner pays for the fix.
We started K4 to take the handoff out of the equation. By pouring our own concrete and building the structures, masonry and fences ourselves, one crew is responsible for the whole job from the first stake in the ground to the final walkthrough. It's why our motto is "Built to last." Lasting work comes from planning the parts together and doing the unseen work, like drainage, base, reinforcement and footings, the right way.

We build where we live. We know what expansive clay does to a slab after a wet spring, what a July afternoon does to fresh concrete, and what a hailstorm does to a poorly connected patio cover. We know most cities in our area require permits for covers and street approaches, and that many neighborhoods have HOA design rules. That local knowledge shapes every project we build, from how we grade and reinforce a patio to how we schedule pours in August.
